Catering to a Crowd

Having a group of visitors - mostly men - makes for a whole lot of cooking. Here's a glimpse of how I've been spending some of my time recently...

Peeling potatoes...

Making "raincoast crisps" - they taste like the real thing!
Making pizza for Lizabee's birthday yesterday...

(And obviously birthday cake...)

Decorating Christmas cookies...

And doing a whole lot of dishes!!

With Christmas Eve and Christmas day ahead, there is more left to do! Tiring, yes, but worth it. It's good to have friends and family to spend time with, especially at this time of year.

One of those special people is our niece, Kyra - there she is, enjoying her time at church. The Ugandan kids were quite fascinated with the mzungu baby.
