Jinja

As one final "hurrah" before our visitors left on the weekend, we decided to head up to Jinja for a relaxing night away. And aside from the rat in our room (the fear of which prevented me from doing much sleeping at all) it was very relaxing indeed! You can't really go wrong with a view of the Nile rapids from your room. Janice did some swimming in the pool, we walked down to Bujagali Falls, we enjoyed good coffee at a cafe in town (why there are no coffee shops in Masaka I do not know), and Jinja is a great place for souvenir shopping which is how we finished up our visit the next morning. We didn't do any rafting this time around, although I could see it in Vivian's eyes that she would have loved to have gone. Next time.

From Jinja we went to Kampala for a night, and then to Entebbe to drop off our visitors at the airport. Thanks for coming Gracie, Vivian and Janice!
