This little cutie pie is Avin, Jeff and Shannon Dyck's daughter.
While we were away in August the Dycks moved from Kibaale to Masaka (into the house we first lived in, which they have managed to make look much more fabulous than we did)...which has made spending time with them much easier and more frequent! It has also made it possible for me to help Shannon a bit with the schooling of their kids - Avin in particular. Avin has been coming over a couple mornings a week to work on her grade 2 reading and writing with me, which has been fun - for both of us! Teaching a large class of students is great, but there is something to be said about one-on-one time. Especially with such a sweet kid!
