A few weeks ago we received an email from one of the secretaries at our church at home asking us if our mission's pastor and his wife could come by for a visit for a few days in March. Our answer: YES! We love visitors! Daryl and Tamara - whose daughter happens to be one of our very close friends - arrived in Uganda on Monday and will be here until Saturday. We've been loving their company (and help - Tamara has cleaned my kitchen and done dishes several times already!). They also came bearing gifts sent from our Bible study group at home - which included goldfish crackers (my fav!), a CD, a DVD, Starbucks coffee, cookies...even clothes. Thanks friends!
Yesterday we showed Daryl and Tamara our project by putting on our stylish rubber boots and going for a walk around the site. We looked pretty good.
We're looking forward to taking them out to Kibaale tomorrow and spending the next few days enjoying the company of our wonderful visitors!
