Life was going along swimmingly, and then suddenly we had to drop off my parents at the airport which put a real damper on the day. Whoever invented goodbyes was a horrible, mean person. It wasn't fun having to send mom and dad off after only having them here for 9 days! BUT, our last day with them was a perfect end to their trip.
On our way up to Kampala yesterday we stopped at a place on the side of the road to buy baskets. My dad had been looking for someone to give this hat to, and the perfect candidate came along! The boy was pretty pleased.

Dinner at a restaurant on the shore of Lake Victoria! Aside from the mixup with our order (tilapia FILLET is not the same thing as a WHOLE TILAPIA) it was the perfect way to end our visit. It's nice to know that they've seen where we live and have experienced a small glimpse of our lives in Uganda.
