My parents arrived for a visit last Friday - hooray! I may have mentioned once or twice in the past that we LOVE having visitors. Chimp Trekking
First, if you've never been to Uganda, you should come. And when you come, chimp trekking is a MUST! We hiked with our guide for about 20 minutes before coming across a group of 3 males and 2 babies, and then followed them through the jungly gorge for about 45 minutes. We watched them climb up the trees, eat berries, screech loudly - and they walked past us within arms reach without even acknowledging we were there! It was definitely a memorable part of our safari!
Elephant footprints in the mud
Tarzan!
It's amazing what we've been able to cram into a week's visit without feeling too rushed, and even having time to sit around, read, take naps, etc. It's been a great week of hanging out, catching up, and introducing Mom & Dad to life in Uganda! We've loved having them here. :)

First of all...your house looks beautiful! Wow! Second of all...that safari lodge looked amazing!! Third...chimp trekking...how COOL! So glad you had a good time with your parents. How special to share that experience with them!
