Bring on the Students!

This coming week, in an effort to get the Timothy Girls College name out there and hopefully get some applications, a few of us are heading up to Kampala to set up a booth in the mall and advertise our school. Seems like 2 weeks before the first day of classes is cutting it a bit close, but apparently that's how it's done around here since the students' results from last year's exams still haven't come out yet. But when they do come out (hopefully this week), we're hoping and praying that there will be a good number of girls entering S5 (senior high school) that will be interested in TGC!

This week we will do our best to show people ways that our school stands out from the rest - from the quality of Biblical education to the quality of the construction...from the leadership training to the good food! And everything else in between.

This afternoon Paul and I walked around and took some up-to-date photos of the buildings to show at our booth.

As you can see, there are bits and pieces that are still under construction and there are a lot of finishing touches that need to be completed over the next two weeks! Pray for Paul as he will be very busy preparing the physical buildings...and pray for the students to fill them!
