Today I am posting about snails. Snails and slugs gross me out because when I was a kid I had a dream that a giant slug crawled (slithered? slugged?) out of my mouth. Blech.
Awhile ago, Paul and I were eating at a restaurant in Entebbe and noticed some snails on the leaves of the tree behind us. There were about 8. And for the whole entire evening, they slowwwwly crawled up and down the leaves. They would reach the end, fold themselves around the tip, and start crawling back up the other side of the leaf. Why we spent our time watching and taking pictures I'm not quite sure. But we did learn that snails have a boring and slow-going existence.

Next time I will post about something that actually matters. Thank you for reading.
