London

A week ago, after saying goodbye to Uganda (thankfully a short-term goodbye), we headed over to London for a 3-night visit! We. loved. London. If you've been to London, you know why. How could you not love that city?!

Our two days in London ruined my feet from so much walking, but it was so worth it - we saw everything from Buckingham Palace to the Tower of London to Westminster Abbey...we rode the London Eye...drank Starbucks...enjoyed art at the National Gallery...visited some amazing churches and cathedrals...saw Wicked (most amazing musical ever and quite possibly the highlight for me), and overall LOVED the chance to be in a big city (a huge change from our last year in Uganda!)

We took over 300 pictures which is impossible to narrow down, but here are some highlights!

Tower Bridge

St. Paul's Cathedral

Riding the London Eye

Piccadilly Circus

Hop-on/Hop-off bus tour = best idea EVER after 5 million blisters and sore shins!

Buckingham Palace

Trafalgar Square

WICKED! Did I mention it was amazing?

Three days was too short to see all the London sights, but the great part is that every trip to and from Uganda requires a stop in London! On our way back the layover is 8 hours, which should be just long enough to dash into the city and see some more amazing sights!
