In Luganda there is no distinction between the L sound and the R sound, which means that often when Ugandans speak English they have a hard time pronouncing the two letters and often get them mixed up. As a result, Paul was presented with a piece of paper the other day that said, "Plumbing Materials, Roundly." Any guesses?
Laundry. Roundly, laundry, same thing.
So our in-progress laundry house (being built behind our house for the purpose of...doing laundry in), has now been fondly named the Roundly House.
